G’day Gamers,

I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I may have been wrong. Wolverine isn’t dead after all. Stellar Blade 2 is already in development and Rayman might actually be making a comeback.

Meanwhile, we’re diving into Devolver Digital, and a fresh face is creeping into the survival horror scene.

Let’s get into it!

Wolverine Isn’t Dead After All

Multiple reports say Insomniac’s Marvel’s Wolverine has a new trailer finished and is likely to appear at PlayStation’s next State of Play later in September. If it skips that show, the same sources expect it to surface at The Game Awards. In other words: I was wrong, and I should never question Insomniac ever again.

I’m hoping that whenever this appears we get a good insight into how Insomniac plans to make Logan feel like Wolverine. They’ve previously perfectly captured the essence of Peter Parker and Miles Morales in the Spider-Man series with free web-slinging across NYC and constant wise-cracking quips. To me, Wolverine needs to feel heavy, violent, and brooding, so hopefully we get some gameplay the next time this appears.

Whether it’s at the September State of Play or The Game Awards, I’m glad this game has resurfaced, and it has me praying for a 2026 release window.
